  I was introduced to The Center Cafe by friends at work about a year ago, and I've now been 3 times. The place rocks, it really does. I'm not going to wax on about the food and wine selection, because as good as it is, it isn't what makes this place. It's the people that run it. They're kind of like the big warm huggy Italian family from a TV commercial that you wished you had. If you're in the area, don't bother hunting around for alternatives. Just go there and enjoy the experience. You might find yourself there until closing.

  We went out to the Center Cafe for Valentines Day. The owners were friendly but it felt as if the staff ignored my date and I. For most of the night, we sat in the corner while some staff would attend to other patrons - ones they knew well. Our cups remained empty, while most of the patron had carafes filled with water. Some staff would not make eye contact while handing the menu.
  
  The food was decent, wine and drinks were fair but I'm not a fan of the service. And after tonight, I don't think we will be returning.
